Aww Ted looks like a real sweetheart!!

Has he ever had an episode of low bloods sugar with you? His coat looks like it, which is why I am even mentioning it. I had a very severe episode of hypoglycemia on a 9 week old puppy that almost killed her and i posted about it here

He is at an age where I'd keep a close eye on him so I recommend having nutrical or Karo syrup (the clearish one, not the dark one) on hand. Who knows what his 'breeders' did when they 'weaned' him (still makes me sad, they are barely gumming food at 4 weeks!!)

He looks like a handsome little dude. How much does he weigh?

Hi Nicole and Ted! I just read your other thread and wanted to say Welcome and that Ted is a cutie! Having a puppy SO young is a whole different ballgame as others mentioned and I hope this site helps you take care of his special needs.

I honestly wouldn't know what signs to look for in regards to hypoglycemia. I took this picture right after his bath. At his last checkup he weighed almost 3lbs. When we got him he weighed 1lb 14oz
