I wasn't sure if Kelly was going to graduate obedience class or not, that girl can be quite stubborn! I even asked the trainer if she's ever had anyone fail the class and she looked at Kelly and jokingly said not until now...Kelly quickly turned her head towards the trainer and gave her a look!
![]() It took her 4 days to learn how to sit, 4 weeks to actually do sit stay and 5 weeks to do the down position and this was me also working with her at home...she thought it was a game every time we would do the little training sessions at home...she absolutely loves it, but i wasn't sure if she was ever going to get it. Every week when we went to class the trainer asked if she did the down position yet and i would say no, the trainer said she'll get it and when we went this week the trainer asked and she was so happy and excited to hear that Kelly had learned the down position and she even demonstrated in class. She was the only toy dog and the trainer was wonderful she would work with the big dogs and then come work with me and Kelly and tell Kelly how proud she was of her for each little accomplishment. She's a wonderful trainer and so positive she's also a pet behaviorist, i wanted to see how the trainer was and Kelly is so outgoing i decided to take her first and next in line is Reese since all but Riley has done obedience training. Without further adieu, here's Kelly at home with her certificate.

Good girl Kelly, she just wanted to get it "perfect" Laurel still won't sit, but the other three were easy, there is always one that it takes awhile, or in Laurel's case maybe never!!

Awe-Kelly is so adorable...she isn't stubborn, she's smart and knows what she likes..a princess should not have to do a bunch of silly tricks..after all, she has you wrapped around her dainty little paw
..congrats to both of you!!![]()

good for her. When lucky went, he refused to sit like a dog, he sat up on his bum with his paws in the air. I was told this was obedience class not a circus tent.
