A quick little photo update of Bravo - he went to his first day of daycare today!

OK......I have had a super busy week (haven't been on here much this week )

Poor Bravo is growing and getting more and more active...and I had to work SO much this week.

My solution??? Doggy DayCare!! The Lodge It's a bit pricey ($25/day) but it's awesome!!! Well worth the money!!!

I get cell phone alerts that tell me what he's doing (if I want them, which I did!), I can watch live videos of him whenever I want - on my cell or on my computer!

He is with 6 other puppies...similar size/age...and a few puppy-tolerant youngsters - one who Bravo LOVED (Shitzu) named Tuxedo.

And I got a report card for him at the end of today, LOL!! Of course he was a hit!

I dropped him off at 7:00am (stayed to watch him for a while) and picked him up at 5:30. He spends two hours playing in one yard, an hour of kennel/sleep time, another couple of hours in a 2nd yard (with a shallow doggy swimming pool), another kennel/rest period, and then the rest of the time in they puppy play yard until I picked him up.

It was the greatest thing ever!! I will probably take him on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays through the end of February....once he is 6 mos old, he can't continue in daycare as he will not be neutered until he finishes his championship.

And.........he now has a full tummy and is totally ready for bed!!!

Ollie loves to go to daycare and boy does it wear him out!! They play in the morning and take doggy naps from noon - 2. After nap they get to play until we pick him up which is around 5-5:30. I bought a package b/c it was cheaper.

It makes me feel better...he'd be home alone for such a long time - with no stimulation (we don't have a second dog right now). And it just seemed so unfair - especially as he's getting more and more active.

I'd been taking him to work with me and hiding him...but he's too active for that, now....and if my employees found out it would certainly be unfair...

I was so worried when I dropped him off...but I could see for myself he was having a really good time.

Donna...I think I'm going to buy a package, too. I was afraid to do it, but he clearly loves it.

I can buy 5 days and the 6th one is "free"

Keeping it in perspective....all this is a whole lot cheaper than my horses!!

What a good boy Bravo!!! How fun!! We have a really nice daycare around here. I have not taken Steve there yet as I am home most of the time, but I love having the option. I know he would LOVE it.

Aww, I'm glad he had such a good day and made new friends! The picture of him with his report card is adorable. I wish we had a doggie day care around here. I'd love for Leila to go on the days I work. We do have other pets but I'm still afraid for her to be around them yet and she still isn't allowed free run of the house. I feel so bad confining her to her play yard but at least I know she's safe and has plenty to play with and needs met. I may see if I can hire a teenager or college student to come over and spend some time with her on work days. My daughter comes over some on her days off when I work. OR maybe I should quit my job and start my own doggie day care. LOL!
