Zoe would like to thank everyone who came to her defense. She is now sitting next to me with a very satisfied look on her cute puppy face.

It's so hard to keep her in there! I have finals this week and I put her in the pen when she gets too rowdy and I can't keep a constant eye on her, but then she starts to cry and give me that look in the first picture and my heart just melts.

Don't fall for it! I did with Gustave when he was younger and now he hates being in his pen so I'm having to practice some tough love.

Meeee too! I keep her pen and her crate open when she's not in the so she's knows it's her own safe place and doesn't feel like she's being banished in there. She plays in her pen just fine, but the second it's closed and I'm still in the house, all bets are off. She will do ANYTHING to get out. She actually learned how to escape by scratching the zipper down, so I now have to twisty tie the zipper pullers together so she can't get out:/
