Default Bad hair cut :(

I brought Boo in to get a cut, and they said some areas were too tangled, even though I combed him before I went in and they said they need to cut it off or else it will hurt him or make him bleed so I agreed to let them. They said it's going to be very short to even it out........ I had no choice but to do it and I guess it's better that he cut some of it since he's going to be neutered next week. But when I picked him up I didn't even recognize that It was my dog, I only knew cause he was running to me

Here is his new haircut pic

Oh it will all grow back! He looks adorable either way.

Did you ask them to show you where the knots were? I keep finding secret knots on Gustave. I brush him everyday but I still find new problem areas where I wouldn't expect him to mat (like his ears!). You could be more informed in the future if you knew what those areas are.

Boo looks adorable. Now at least you can let it grow out and keep up with the brushing and combing. It's important to do both. Hopefully your using a good brush and comb it makes a difference. He looks cute and since he is getting neutered soon it will be easier. The hair will grow in quickly.

Yes I still love him but I guess I expected too much from the groomers? The knots were near ontop of each leg, I guess sort of where the harness outlines. Maybe I have a crappy brush since It was from petsmart . WOw behind the ears too?!

It must have been such a shock when you saw him. He still looks adorable though! Don't you worry, it'll grow back so so fast.

I would definitely recommend a comb in addition to a brush. A comb can be a savior in finding hidden mats.

He is cute...hey he can wear a Christmas sweater now.

I need to mention that you need a good metal comb to get tangles out.

Oh Boo you cutie pie, you look adorable!! When I first got Laurel cut short, I was in shock, even though I told the groomer what to do! I loved when it grew out a bit though. it sure was easier to wash and dry!!!
