I brought Boo in to get a cut, and they said some areas were too tangled, even though I combed him before I went in and they said they need to cut it off or else it will hurt him or make him bleed so I agreed to let them. They said it's going to be very short to even it out........ I had no choice but to do it and I guess it's better that he cut some of it since he's going to be neutered next week. But when I picked him up I didn't even recognize that It was my dog, I only knew cause he was running to me

Oh it will all grow back! He looks adorable either way.
Did you ask them to show you where the knots were? I keep finding secret knots on Gustave. I brush him everyday but I still find new problem areas where I wouldn't expect him to mat (like his ears!). You could be more informed in the future if you knew what those areas are. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

Boo looks adorable. Now at least you can let it grow out and keep up with the brushing and combing. It's important to do both. Hopefully your using a good brush and comb it makes a difference. He looks cute and since he is getting neutered soon it will be easier. The hair will grow in quickly.

It must have been such a shock when you saw him. He still looks adorable though! Don't you worry, it'll grow back so so fast.
I would definitely recommend a comb in addition to a brush. A comb can be a savior in finding hidden mats. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

He is cute...hey he can wear a Christmas sweater now.
I need to mention that you need a good metal comb to get tangles out.

Oh Boo you cutie pie, you look adorable!! When I first got Laurel cut short, I was in shock, even though I told the groomer what to do! I loved when it grew out a bit though. it sure was easier to wash and dry!!!
