That is beautiful!! Must have been hours and hours to decorate like that. It does look so pretty.

The hubs has a saying, "the bigger, the better, the fatter, the juicer". Cracks me up. Southerners are funny, I love my little hick man, LOL. I love Christmas lights.

I actually did live next to someone who did do elaborate decorating every year, it's amazing how many lights and blow up things he put in that tiny front yard. They didn't have and kids yet and he made his own hours at work, so around Christmas time he would take time off just to decorate the house. They made the news every year because they did something a little different than most who decorate their houses, he and his wife would pick a charity every year and a local food bank, and all the lights turned out to be how they brought attention to it. So they would sit out every night with a box for money for a charity and a basket for non-perishable food items for the food banks.

i bet it looks so pretty in person! There's a house in my area with lights like that but they have animated life size rocking horse and ferris wheel, looks so cool!

That is beautiful. I wish that was my house or my neighbours. That is breathtaking and I absolutely love when people go all out with Christmas lights.

That is so funny. All that work. All that power consumption. Wow! There aren't that many lights in all of Healdsburg.

some people are going way overboard. When it is too much, it is not nice anymore.

I don't remember if this is in Phoenix or somewhere else. They showed it on TV. Two neighboors competed for years with their Christmas decorations. This year only one did the decorations. And the other one only made a sign with an arrow pointing to the decorated house. The sign said : DITTO
