Phew!
Summer came home on Sunday and its been a crazy couple of days. getting used to a puppy again has been a little exhausting!!!!! Also my 14 yr old Malt Chelsea was spayed on Monday which turned into a pyometra op......scary, but that's a different story. Summer is gorgeous.....goes outside to toilet and uses her peepad if I don't catch her in time. She is eating 4 small meals a day and some baby farex and puppy milk. She is funny and my 7 & 9 yr old skin kids race her around the yard..... She sleeps well after! She is getting along really well with Chelsea (although we are watching them closely considering Chelsea's surgery) she also gets along with the cats! Just got to get used to the early am wake up calls!!!!! LoL Anyways here's some pics as promised........ ![]() Summer 12 weeks by Purple Realm, on Flickr ![]() Summer 12 weeks by Purple Realm, on Flickr ![]() Summer 12 weeks by Purple Realm, on Flickr ![]() Summer 12 weeks by Purple Realm, on Flickr ![]() Ali,Chelsea and Summer 1-1-13 by Purple Realm, on Flickr |

She's very cute. In America we have to watch out for Parvo a virus that can live for years in earth and on lawns. How vaccinated has Summer been? You might want to curtail some of her exposure until her shots are up to par. Love those pix.

Thanks so much for your concern. Summer has had her 8 & 12 week injections. And she only plays in my yard. Parvo isn't really a concern in my yard. Yards in Australia in suburbia are usually fully fenced around the back yards. (something i noticed the USA doesnt seem to do everywhere when I went there?) Also i own my house and are the second owner since built. The previous owner didnt have pets. My Chelsea girl is fully vaccinated. Most parvo cases come from dog parks v back yards here. People who haven't immunized going to the dog parks or taking walks in the neighbourhood. ( very silly indeed!) Summer used a grassed area at her breeders to toilet etc also. She is a little cutie but showing her terror side by constantly ripping her pee pads to shreds......she's got heaps of toys but that seems to be more fun!?!!!
