Can it be only a year ago today that Lisi came into our lives? It seems like we have an eternity of history together already! She is a very commanding presence! We have even been known to call her "Mighty Mouth."

Yes, a year ago today she was brought to Vienna in a tiny little blanket, shy and wanting to go back home w/her mommy breeder

. Kitzel had just had a double major surgery and was not the kindest brother for some months

---but she is tenacious! Szilvi wasn't at all sure how the two would get on together & the beginning months were rough.

Szilvi was teary when she left---and I have to admit that I was not at all sure we were doing the right thing.

Fast-forward--she has captured ALL of our hearts, even reluctant Kitzi.

She continues to hold a definite voice

and will not be over-looked, but she has a genuinely sweet and caring side

. She is a little "mother" and although she can be a hand-full, we would not change a minute of her!

Happy Gottcha Day, little girl! We love you w/unspeakable love! You make us laugh every single day. You are trouble on 4 legs and we would not change a minute of our time w. you!

Happy Gotcha Day Liesl! She is such a spunky, adorable little girl and is definitely full of personality! We had fun getting to meet her and her sweet brother at Hilton Head-- It's still one of the highlights of this year for me! Give her a pat on the head and tell her that Pippa and Cozette say hi

Jackie, it was so fun to host you & the girls & Mary! It was certainly a highlight of our our time in the US. I loved the girls in the water on the beach--so daring & all dressed up in their little sailor dresses! And your sister is a real live wire---such fun! I hope that our paths will cross again in the not too distant future. Are you planning on Nationals?
