They used to be a greenish blue (more blue).... I loved her blue eyes LOLBut in the last few months they have turned to a more brown. Some days you can still see the green. Who knows...maybe they will change with the seasons? Will have to wait and see in summer ![]() Quote:

![]() There is a WONDERFUL site called Ravelry www.ravelry.com You make an account - account is free - and you can search hundreds of knitting and crochet patterns. Many of them are FREE. This is where I went to get my patterns when I started knitting. I love the site. I used it to find patterns when I was knitting baby hats and booties for my nephew. But to be honest, I don't use a pattern now. I knit all by memory. I know how many stitches=1inch and I know the basic shape needed and how to create that, and so I do it all in my head. I like my dog sweaters with a longer neck cuff (so it can fold over once), with leg cuffs, and ribbing all around the edge. And I like most of my sweaters to have a ribbed belly (the bumble sweater doesn't have a ribbed belly). So any sweater pattern I follow I usually add those on myself. Make sure to check your gauge. I knit tighter than most (I think based on gauge) so if I knit exactly as the pattern says my sweaters end up a little smaller than they say they will. My mom knits looser than most so her's end up bigger LOL DROPS patterns are wonderful - their christmas sweaters are based on a DROPS sweater. Grace's cupcake sweater is based on a "little black dress" sweater pattern there... Sort of. I have a book called Leisure Arts Dog Sweaters to Knit and Crochet - I got it at Joann's Fabrics. That is a great basic knit sweater - probably the closest one to the bumble bee sweater ![]() But Ravelry has a ton of great free patterns... I'd love to be able to knit all the time...if only my hands loved it as much as I do ![]() Hope that helps!
