Lily was a beautiful little girl. My thoughts are with you and your family during this celebration of Lily's life. Rest in peace sweet baby angel.

I also lost my Bichon, Rosie, to lung cancer. Her last meal was beef stew with gravy, potatoes, and carrots. I held her and hand fed her. She was so loved!

What a beautiful and heartbreaking post. I am all teary reading her story, how we all wish for such a peaceful end, but it so seldom happens that way. I hope to have my fluff for as long as you did, thank you for such a lovely tribute to her life

This old post came up again. I warms my heart that friends continue to read and be moved. I loved Lily with all my heart and soul, but MiMi came to heal my heart and make it hurt so much less. I will always love my Lily girl....always. But now I have my MiMi and I love her with all my heart and soul. I truly believe that the law of the universe says "there is always someone to love." There are so many dear souls, so many to love...when we loose one, all we can do is move on. Lily is not lost. Lily is in heaven, or maybe reincarnated in MiMi. Those mysteries are not for us to know. I believe that every soul is eternal, and I believe that love is eternal. Life, spirit, soul and love...all eternal.

I couldn't agree more Sylvia. I too lost my precious baby Kyra 1 1/2 years ago. Still very painful. Although I have Zoe who certainly did help in the healing, I still miss my little girl who will always have the #1 spot in my heart.
