A little while ago I posted a memorial to my Aunt Mary's dear dog, Chomper. I printed the thread with the heartfelt replies and mailed it to her. I just talked with her, and she was so moved and so comforted. She was particularly touched by people who referred to her "little boy", because that is what he was to her. She is still in terrible pain, but was grateful for the compassionate words and hugs.

I missed your other post. I am so sorry for your aunt's loss. I know first hand how hard it is to lose a special little one. That was so sweet of you to print out the replies to give her.
