I use alligator clips, and what I do is make sure I open the clip up fully, then gently slide out. I haven't had a problem with it pulling out hair.

BTW -- for those that haven't used the mini-boutique bows, Marj has made several for me to use on Secret and they're PERFECT for her size. I use the regular boutique bows on Lacie and Tilly, but the minis are just right for a tinier Malt. |
