I had a great weekend with great friends at the Eukanuba Dog Show. It was so nice to get together with some SM friends, and cheer on our favorite Malts.
Mary H's Vision did beautifully winning "Best of Opposite" in breed. She won "Best of Breed" the day before. Of course our wonderful Marina did beautifully as she always does with Lucy. I only took a few pictures. There was just too much going on-dogs to see and pet, vendors to visit, breeds to check out, and catching up with friends. Cathy, Marti, Pat C, Stacy, Marina, Candis, and Mary H - it was great to see you all again. It was also nice to meet Dee. A few of us got to have a pajama party after a long show day. Hopefully someone got more pictures of the dogs.

Reva - so glad you had a good time. Looked and sounded like so much fun. So who was the Greek Goddess in the first shot?

I can't wait to see Vision with my own eyes one of these days. So happy for Mary.

Vision looked gorgeous- it was very nice to get to see her in person : )

I have my own brag- Jules received the first Award of Excellence yesterday at Eukanuba. He showed very well for his first large event. I did not show him the days leading up to it so it was nice that he took all the commotion in stride.

And special thanks to Stacy who helped get Jules ready for his photo- I saw it on the AKC website and it looks so much better than it would have otherwise

Hi Stacy - I'm not sure if we met or not, but if your dog was showing, he was beautiful. Every Malt out there did great. I don't know how you pick one over the other. Congrats to you and Jules.

The Grecian goddess is Mary Beth with AMA. I'm don't know her last name.
She and her helpers did a great job on the display.

Thanks! You are right, all of the dogs were gorgeous. I have shown at Eukanuba before with our papillons, but that ring is a mad house and pretty stressful as there is usually a huge group of specials entered. It was a pleasure to be in the nice, smooth, calm maltese ring with such wonderful dogs and handlers.

I had a great time meeting and visiting with everyone this past weekend at Eukanuba. Can't wait until April when we all meet again at Maltese National Specialty.
