Terry -- I feel like everyone else. The 1st book was my least favorite -- but I also feel that, althought they COULD stand on their own, you really needed the development of the characters in the first book in order to truly enjoy the other 2.

Sue -- I also enjoyed the 2nd one the most.

Still haven't gotten to the movie.

My sister read this book and said it was a good read. I have been interested in reading it as well and seeing the movie. How does the movie compare to the book, does anyone know?
