So yeah I know Min would love tasting BBQ sauce or steak sauce.. never gave her any though because I was afraid of the salt content...my girl friend thinks the sauces may be too complicated for her stomach to digest.

So I'm just curious, can I or should I let Min try BBQ, Steak, Teryaki, etc. sauces?

I would think they would be hard on their tummies. Why would you want to give your pup these sauces - I mean how do you know she would love to try them? I think mine would just turn up their noises at them.

I would say it's okay to give them a lick off of your finger occasionally, but I wouldn't coat their food (kibble or chicken or anything) with it. It would probably upset their stomaches.

If I have left over meat I always rinse it before giving it to the fluffs. Mia has enough tummy issues to chance it.

well the way she always lifts her nose and tries to eat what's on our plate i assumed she would like it...

she eats her hard food and stuff but i like feeding her a sirloin steak at least once a week... it's just a little plain to me so i was curious to let her try steak sauce.
