Default Keep Amber and Sassy in your thoughts,Emily too

Keep Amber in your thoughts..she got sick suddenly. She threw up twice last night.
Gotta take her to the vet as soon as they open..
Being almost 16, gotta make sure she's ok..

Sassy has been sneezing and watery eyes the last couple days.. so having her checked out..

They were fine until last night..poor babies.we gotta make sure they're up for the trip.

Michelle, I am sorry your trip is delayed, but glad you can get them into the vet quickly. Maybe you will be able to leave soon w/some meds. It is best not to be traveling if you are not sure what it is. . . . Lisi had surgery in France last year and although she came out of it ok, it was pretty awful for her---best to be sure.
I am becoming more hesitant now to travel w/my two. As they age it gets harder. My love to you---take care of yourself too. Let us know what happens.

Amber is at the vet on IV. Her kidney and liver values , blood work was high
If she had been younger..might have chalked it up to upset tummy until we got the blood work back.

She was fine yesterday..so if it had to happen, glad it did before we left so we could make sure she's healthy to travel..

We had originally planned to leave on 26th,then delayed til 27th so maybe it was a hint to wait..

Vet was going to give us saline and meds and I could do sub Q fluids and follow up at vet in Florida, but we didn't want to chance her getting worse..
IV fluids and meds would work faster so we opted to stay home longer..

Just hoping it works..

So hard when your babies get old.

You are an amazing experienced "fluff mommy". We can all learn so much from you. Getting old is hard on all of us (human and our dependent fluffs). Amber is so fortunate to have your loving attentive care during this phase of her life. Continued prayer the fluids & medications quickly work so she can return to the comfort of her home where she belongs.
